A non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue organization, the mission of SAFE Shelter is to prevent domestic violence, protect victims and promote change in lives, families, and our community.
THE GOAL
Since 1979, SAFE Shelter has been Savannah’s only shelter dedicated to victims of intimate partner violence and their underage children. Open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, the Shelter provides safe, confidential services to all victims of domestic violence.
SAFE Shelter is available to answer questions, provide support, safety planning, and referrals. Calls are always confidential and we will never call you back.

us
Founded in 2023, Charity Uncorked has a goal to make a tremendous impact in the Coastal Empire community by raising awareness and support for local underfunded non-profit organizations and vulnerable members of our community. The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to the range of projects we take part in.
Each quarter, we select a local non-profit organization to feature, and we raise awareness and funds to support their mission. Our quarterly awareness campaign culminates into a night of sharing, networking, and learning at our Charity Uncorked wine-tasting event. All profits from the event are donated to the featured organization. Donations are tax-deductible, as we are recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization.
Special events for individual community members are held outside of our quarterly events & require specific board approval.
